Float8 is a four-tank float center located in Deerfield Beach, FL. With four isolation pods for floatation therapy, it is the first of its kind in South Florida. Continuing to gain popularity among health professionals, floatation therapy is an alternative health and wellness treatment that reduces stress and offers holistic pain relief by restricting sensory input to the brain. By removing light, sound, and the effects of gravity on the body, floaters reach a deep level of mental and physical relaxation which is ideal for healing and meditation.
In addition to offering four private float rooms, Float8 Wellness Lounge has a comfortable relaxation lounge with kombucha and cold brew coffee on tap, tea, and healthy snacks, as well as a meditation room and library for quiet reflection. Artwork from several local artists is on display throughout the space and will rotate regularly including work by Jason Koerner, Kazilla, Because of the Lotus, and MarcPaperScissor. Partnering with local health and wellness practitioners, Float8 will host weekly workshops on Monday evenings.
