Floatarium is a place where you can experience floating.

What is Floatation?
It’s an experience of complete detachment from the outside world. You lift off from the ground. Due to the fact that gravity is reduced to a minimum, you start to float. Your Body doesn’t touch anything. The boundary between your body and the external world fades away. Silence regins. It’s dark. No-one and nothing disturbs you. And once you’ve escaped from the external world to a place of peace and quiet – than something amazing happens. Your body and mind experience huge relief. Overloaded on a day-to-day basis, they can at last rest for a while. The brain calms down – it notice that there are no threats or problems. The level of stress hormones drops, and the amount of natural “feel-good” substance increases.
The mind, usually bombarded with too much information, slows down and begins to regenerate. All the muscles of your body loosen up. Stress disappears. You enter into a state of deep relaxation. You rest like never before.

Floatation takes place in a special capsule known as a floatation or isolation tank. It’s filled to a level of 24 cm with heated water (temp. 35,1 C degree) that contains a large amonut of Epsom salts, causing you to float. The tank is incredibly spacious. There is a light switch inside, and if you don’t want total isolation – you can listen to music.
