From a Flotation Novice

I have never done this before but have always been interested in sensory deprivation. I got a good deal from these guys as a member of the Stellar Gym so toddled along. The manager, Louise, was the soul of good humour and wit and the facility was immaculate and well equipped. I did not expect much but it was beautifully done, lights, music, warm water the works. The only mild surprise (apart form the efficiency and quality of the operation) was the slippery nature of the water in the pod. Anyway very pleasant and thought provoking. I did feel quite tired afterwards but pleasantly so (and I had just walked several km to the gym and spent an hour and a half making a fool of myself with weights and machines).
